Texas Cedar

Texas cedar, or Juniperus ashei, provides a rugged, slightly smoky cedar character unique to the American Southwest. It is drier and more rustic than Atlas or Virginia cedar, with a subtle camphoraceous edge.

In perfumery, Texas cedar adds an authentic, cowboy-country woody quality. It pairs with leather, sage, vetiver, and other dry woods.
